Happy New Year

I managed to finally get a night off, on New Year's Eve, and wouldn't you know it, I got sick. I had a 104.1 fever and almost had to go to the hospital. Daddy couldn't get the regular thermometer to work, and had to go to the old reliable rectal standby. What a horrible way to spend only my second New Year. The indignity.

Daddy woke me up at midnight (he paused the 40 Year Old Virgin) to wish me a Happy New Year. Alka was working. So besides the encounter with the temperature stick, it was pretty quiet, except for daddy laughing every five minutes and waking me up.

Its okay though, cause I managed to get daddy and Alka sick on the same day and they both had to call out from work.

Anyway, Happy New Year everybody.

The Salt Mines

Daddy and Alka say that now that I'm getting older I need to earn my keep. So they've got me doing hard labor, like I was on a chain gang or something. Here they've got me sweating in the hot sun breaking rocks and raking leaves. I guess child labor laws don't count when its your child.

Pissa!

Daddy was supposed to go to his cousin's wedding last month in Boston, but he was away on business and couldn't make it. He was wicked pissed though. It looks like Tom Brady was there, and you know how much Daddy loves his Patriots!

He said it was a real pissa that he missed it! Oh well...Congrats Christapha!

Aaaaaargh, Part II

I've been gone for a long time because Alka lost the cords to the camera and I didn't have any pictures to post. Now she found them, so I'm back in action. Alka's been very excited about Halloween. For the past month she's been dressing me up in all kinds of costumes.

On Halloween she settled on a pirate. So I was a pirate for the day. Daddy came home from work, and then there were hardly any kids out doing trick or treat.

I guess that means I can keep all the candy Alka and Daddy bought to give away.

Busted!

Aw man. I've been hanging around with my friend Sylvie cause her mom Jenny has been watching me when Alka and Daddy are at work. So today, we were back behind the couch and we were smooching and having fun when Auntie Jenny came over and totally busted us. She said we were making too much noise. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

Happy Birthday Alka

Daddy came home late from work on Alka's birthday and we were so tired that we just went to bed after he got there. A couple hours later Daddy woke us up. He baked a cake and gave Alka a gift certificate for a mani-ped.
Alka was excited. Me too. You can tell.

water, heat and plastic floats

Its been hot! too hot! Daddy says it must be because of man-made global warming. he thinks we should all take steps like some guy named algore. Since algore has a private jet plane to fly around the world, Daddy wants to get one too. He says he'd ride it everywhere so he could stop man-made global warming. even to the grocery store. Alka does her part too- she keeps all the lights on and the air conditioner on 65. Daddy says its cause algore runs up massive electric bills at his house, so it must be good for the environment.

Anyway, its been really hot. Daddy and Alka took me swimming at a pool near the beach. On the way down, Daddy kept swearing because he didn't have his private jet. All he had was this lousy car and it kept getting stuck in traffic. I hope Daddy gets his private jet soon, so he won't have to go out in public wearing hats like this. and if he does, nobody will see him.
